The Amphenol MIL-DTL-5015 Matrix CRIMP REAR RELEASE SERIES offers an improved alternative to older MIL-C-5015 solder type connectors. This series bridges the gap between established standards and the environmental and high-performance demands of current technologies. Designed for medium to heavy-weight environmental cylindrical applications, these connectors are intermateable with existing MIL-DTL-5015 solder or crimp versions. Key features include a captive coupling nut mechanism, multiple interlock systems for permanent insert retention, and positive control of dielectric separation with guaranteed ease of contact insertion. The connectors are completely sealed against environmental extremes through individual contact seals, interfacial seals, peripheral gasket shell-to-shell seals, and redundant rear wire seals.
