Product Overview

The Minitek Pwr 4.2 connector series is engineered for power applications, offering a current rating of up to 9A per circuit. Available in dual row configurations with 2 to 24 circuits, these connectors support Wire-To-Board, Wire-To-Wire, and Wire-To-Panel mounting. They utilize crimp, snap-in header, and receptacle contacts for terminating 28AWG-16AWG wires. Header and receptacle housings facilitate Wire-To-Wire and Wire-To-Board setups, while crimping and removal tools are available for wire harness assembly. Header assemblies for Wire-To-Board interconnections include vertical and right-angle components designed for wave soldering and through-hole configurations. A right-angle version cable receptacle is also offered, ideal for cable routing within 1U or 2U equipment systems. The series is designed for flexibility, meeting environmental, health, and safety requirements, and is interchangeable with Molex Micro-Fit connectors.
