Product Overview
The Amphenol ePower Connector Series is engineered for the demanding electrical systems of hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as utility trucks. Operating at high voltages (800VDC to 1000VDC) and high continuous current ratings (200A to 400A), these connectors leverage the patented RADSOK technology. This innovation provides higher amperage capacity, reduced T-rise, lower resistance, and mating force, offering a significant performance advantage over conventional connectors. The series is designed for a 40% smaller footprint compared to three EMI shielding cable glands and simplifies termination of shielded cables. Available in 2 or 3 power contact configurations, a single ePower connector can replace multiple conventional connectors, leading to space and cost savings. Applications span both Military Aerospace and Industrial segments, including power converters, hybrid electric vehicles, heavy equipment electrification, two and three-phase motors, and starter generators.
