Amphenol M39029 30 222 MIL DTL 5015 Matrix CRIMP REAR RELEASE Connectors for Environmental Protection
MIL-DTL-5015, Matrix CRIMP REAR RELEASE Series Connectors
Product Overview
The Amphenol MIL-DTL-5015, Matrix CRIMP REAR RELEASE Series offers an improved alternative to older MIL-C-5015 solder type connectors. This series bridges the gap between established connector standards and the environmental and high-performance demands of current technologies. Designed for medium to heavy-weight environmental cylindrical applications, these connectors are intermateable with existing MIL-DTL-5015 solder or crimp versions. Key features include a captive coupling nut mechanism, multiple interlock systems for permanent insert retention, positive control of dielectric separation with guaranteed ease of contact insertion, and positive contact retention via a damage-proof metal retention clip. They are completely sealed against environmental extremes through individual contact seals, interfacial seals, peripheral gasket shell-to-shell seals, and redundant rear wire seals.
