The Amphenol ePower Connector Series is engineered for the demanding electrical systems of hybrid vehicles, electric vehicles, and utility trucks. These connectors operate at 800VDC to 1000VDC and offer continuous current ratings from 200A to 400A. They feature the patented RADSOK technology, providing higher amperage, reduced T-rise, lower resistance, and lower mating force. The ePower series offers a 40% smaller footprint compared to traditional solutions, simplifying termination with shielded cable. Available in 2 or 3 power contacts, a single ePower 400A connector can replace multiple conventional connectors, optimizing space and cost. Applications span Military Aerospace and Industrial segments, including power converters, hybrid electric vehicles, heavy equipment electrification, two and three-phase motors, and starter generators.
