The Amphenol ePower Connector Series is engineered for the rigorous demands of hybrid, electric vehicle, and utility truck electrical systems. Operating at 800VDC to 1000VDC with continuous current ratings from 200A to 400A, this series utilizes the patented RADSOK technology. This innovation delivers higher amperage, reduced T-rise, lower resistance, and mating force compared to conventional connectors. The ePower series offers a 40% smaller footprint than three EMI shielding cable glands and simplifies termination of shielded cable. Available in 2 or 3 power contact configurations, a single ePower 400A connector can replace three conventional connectors, optimizing space and cost. Applications span Military Aerospace and Industrial segments, including power converters, hybrid electric vehicles, heavy equipment electrification, two and three-phase motors, and starter generators.
