Product Overview
The Minitek Pwr 4.2 connector series is engineered for power applications, offering a current rating of up to 9A per circuit. Available in dual-row configurations with 2 to 24 circuits, these connectors support Wire-To-Board, Wire-To-Wire, and Wire-To-Panel mount applications. They utilize crimp, snap-in header, and receptacle contacts for terminating 28AWG-16AWG wires. Header and receptacle housings facilitate Wire-To-Wire and Wire-To-Board configurations, while crimping and removal tools are available for wire harness assembly. Header assemblies for Wire-To-Board interconnections include vertical and right-angle components designed for wave soldering and through-hole configurations. A right-angle version cable receptacle is also offered, ideal for cable routing within 1U or 2U equipment systems. These connectors are interchangeable and compatible with Molex Micro-Fit and meet RoHS compliance and Lead-Free requirements. A Glow Wire Compliant series is available, supporting home appliance requirements.
