The Amphenol ePower Connector Series is engineered for the rigorous demands of hybrid, electric vehicles, and utility truck electrical systems. These connectors operate at 800VDC to 1000VDC with continuous current ratings from 200A to 400A. Leveraging the patented RADSOK technology, the ePower series offers higher amperage, reduced T-rise, lower resistance, and improved mating force. Designed for a 40% smaller footprint compared to three EMI shielding cable glands, they simplify termination with shielded cable through an integrated washer mechanism. The series supports 2 or 3 power contacts, with a single ePower 400A connector capable of replacing three conventional connectors, thereby saving space and cost. Applications span both Military Aerospace and Industrial segments, including power converters, hybrid electric vehicles, heavy equipment electrification, two and three-phase motors, and starter generators.
