Product Overview
The PV Wire-to-Board Connector System offers a high-reliability, high-durability, and high-retention solution for connecting discrete wires to printed circuit boards. Featuring innovative PV crimp-to-wire receptacle terminals that mate with industry-standard 0.025 inch (0.635mm) square posts, this system provides robust connections. The dual-metal receptacle terminals ensure sustained contact pressure over 1000 mating cycles, with a beryllium copper spring for high normal force and a brass contact body for reliable, gas-tight crimp termination. Options for containment, protection, and guidance are available for both sides of the connector interface. The system supports discrete wire use or integration into multiple-circuit MINI-LATCH connector housings with optional polarizing keys. Shrouded PCB headers feature an integral friction feature for secure mating with MINI-LATCH housings and can be configured as discrete staked pins or un-shrouded headers. Key applications include instrumentation, medical devices, industrial equipment, consumer electronics, automotive electronics, data and communications, military, and avionics.
