Sealed cylindrical connectors Amphenol M39029/29-216 with captive coupling nut and positive contact retention clip
Product Overview
The MIL-DTL-5015 Matrix CRIMP REAR RELEASE SERIES offers an improved alternative to older MIL-C-5015 solder types, bridging the gap between established standards and modern high-performance requirements. These medium to heavy-weight environmental cylindrical connectors are designed for reliability and ease of contact insertion. They feature a captive coupling nut mechanism, multiple interlock systems for permanent insert retention, and positive contact retention via a damage-proof metal clip. The connectors are completely sealed against environmental extremes through individual contact seals, interfacial seals, peripheral gasket shell-to-shell seals, and redundant rear wire seals. They are intermateable with existing MIL-DTL-5015 solder or crimp versions on current equipment.
