The Anderson Power Products SBS connector family, including the SBS 50, SBS 75X, and SBS 75G, offers high-power connectivity in compact, ergonomic housings designed to prevent accidental contact with live circuits, particularly crucial for DC voltages exceeding 30 volts. These connectors support wire-to-wire and wire-to-board configurations with power contacts rated up to 110 amps. The SBS 75X features up to 4 mate-last/break-first auxiliary power/signal contacts rated up to 20 amps, while the SBS 75G includes a third, first-mate/last-break ground or power contact. All contact positions are rated for circuit interruption (hot plugging), providing a touch-safe interface suitable for through-panel applications and minimizing contact with live circuits per IEC 60950. The genderless design mates with itself or corresponding PCB connectors, and mechanical keys are color-coded for easy identification.
