Product Overview
The Amphenol ePower Connector Series is engineered for the rigorous demands of hybrid electric vehicles, electric vehicles, and utility truck electrical systems. These connectors operate at high voltages ranging from 800VDC to 1000VDC and offer continuous current ratings from 200A to 400A. Featuring the patented RADSOK technology, the ePower series provides higher amperage, reduced T-rise, lower resistance, and improved mating force. This series offers a 40% smaller footprint compared to three EMI shielding cable glands and simplifies termination with shielded cable through a washer that compresses the shield to the inside surface of the shell. Each connector can accommodate 2 or 3 power contacts, with a single ePower 400A connector capable of replacing up to three conventional connectors, thereby saving space and cost. Applications span both Military Aerospace and Industrial segments, including power converters, hybrid electric vehicles, heavy equipment electrification, two and three-phase motors, and starter generators.
