The Amphenol ePower Connector Series is engineered for the demanding requirements of hybrid electric vehicles, utility trucks, and other high-voltage DC electrical systems. Designed to operate at 800VDC to 1000VDC with continuous current ratings from 200A to 400A, this series incorporates the patented RADSOK technology. This innovation offers higher amperage, reduced T-rise, lower resistance, and improved mating force compared to conventional connectors. The ePower series provides a 40% smaller footprint than three EMI shielding cable glands and simplifies termination with shielded cable. Available in 2 or 3 power contact configurations, a single ePower 400A connector can replace multiple conventional connectors, leading to significant space and cost savings. Applications span both Military Aerospace and Industrial segments, including power converters, hybrid electric vehicles, heavy equipment electrification, two and three-phase motors, and starter generators.
