The Amphenol USBF TV is a robust connection system designed for harsh environments, offering USB 2.0 data transmission with speeds up to 480 Mb/s. This system protects standard USB 2.0 cordsets from shocks, dust, and fluids, achieving IP68 sealing when mated. It features a Tri-Start Thread coupling mechanism, compliant with MIL-DTL-38999 series III type, and includes an anti-decoupling device for high vibration resistance. The USBF TV eliminates the need for hazardous field cabling and grounding, requiring no tools for connection or disconnection. It offers improved EMI protection and two user-selectable mechanical coding/polarization possibilities. Typical applications include embedded computers, data acquisition and transmission in harsh environments, railways, battlefield communication systems, and navy systems.
