Product Overview
HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) receptacles are the next-generation interface designed to replace the DVI connector. Commonly found in consumer electronics like digital televisions, DVD players, and set-top boxes, HDMI offers backwards compatibility with DVI while being smaller and more user-friendly. These connectors support the transmission of uncompressed video and audio data along a single cable at 5Gb/s. Available in right-angle and straight versions, they offer various mounting styles including full surface mount (SMT) solder tails and pegs, or SMT solder tails and through-hole pegs. Options for flange and plating are available. The straight version features enhanced EMI shielding performance with additional grounding pins. These receptacles are designed for excellent durability, rated for 10,000 cycles, and are RoHS compliant.
