The Amphenol USBF TV is a robust connection system designed for harsh environments, enabling the integration of standard USB 2.0 cordsets into a protected metallic plug. This system shields USB connections from shocks, dust, and fluids, offering IP68 sealing when mated. It features a Tri-Start Thread coupling mechanism, compliant with MIL-DTL-38999 series III type, with an anti-decoupling device for high vibration resistance. The USBF TV eliminates the need for hazardous field cabling and grounding, requiring no tools for connection and offering improved EMI protection. It provides two user-selectable mechanical coding/polarization possibilities. The system is suitable for demanding applications such as embedded computers, data acquisition and transmission in harsh environments, railways, battlefield communication systems, and navy systems.
