Anderson Power Products SBS 50 & 75 Connectors
The Anderson Power Products SBS connector family is engineered for high-power applications, offering a compact, ergonomic design with integrated protection against accidental contact with live circuits. This feature is particularly crucial for DC voltages exceeding 30 volts. Available in wire-to-wire and wire-to-board configurations, these connectors provide power contacts rated up to 110 amps. The SBS75X model includes up to 4 mate-last, break-first auxiliary power/signal contacts rated up to 20 amps. The SBS75G variant features a dedicated first-mate, last-break ground or power contact. All contact positions are rated for circuit interruption, enabling hot-plugging capabilities. The touch-safe interface, compliant with IEC 60950, minimizes contact with live circuits and is suitable for through-panel applications. The genderless design allows connectors to mate with themselves, and mechanical keys are color-coded for easy identification.
