Bel Fuse TEBC 1003 MIL STD 1553 Bus Coupler Supporting Multiple Device Connections and Data Bus Link
Product Overview
The MIL-STD-1553 specification supports the connection of multiple devices through a redundant, deterministic, serial data bus. Bel Fuse / Cinch MIL-STD-1553 Bus Couplers are designed to connect these devices via tributaries called stubs. These couplers provide essential shielding, isolation resistors, and transformer interfaces for Remote Terminals, Bus Controllers, or Bus Monitors. The data bus passes through the coupler, connecting to two primary connectors. Each coupler offers one or more stub connections, which remain unterminated when not in use. For bus termination at the end of the line, an external resistor is required. Bel Fuse / Cinch also offers complementary products such as terminators, RFI Caps, cables, and cable assemblies for a complete MIL-STD-1553 data bus link.
