Product Overview
Bel Fuse / Cinch MIL-STD-1553 Bus Couplers are designed to facilitate the connection of multiple devices through a redundant, deterministic, serial data bus, as specified by MIL-STD-1553. These couplers connect to the bus via stubs, providing essential shielding, isolation resistors, and transformer interfaces for Remote Terminals, Bus Controllers, or Bus Monitors. They enable the data bus to pass through by connecting to two main connectors, with each coupler offering one or more stub connections. Unused stub connections remain unterminated, and external termination resistors are required if the coupler is placed at the end of the bus. Bel Fuse / Cinch also offers complementary components such as terminators, RFI Caps, cables, and cable assemblies for a complete MIL-STD-1553 data bus link.
