Bel Magnetic Solutions' Press-Fit ICMs are engineered for applications and processing environments that require connectors to be pressed onto the PCBA, bypassing traditional soldering methods. As the number of internet-connected devices grows, particularly in non-traditional applications, the demand for press-fit type ICM connectors alongside other press-fit I/O connectors on the board is increasing. These ICMs are also ideal for applications with multi-layer PCBs, accommodating board thicknesses of 0.080in (2.03mm) or greater without a maximum limit, addressing limitations of traditional solder lead lengths on thicker boards. They are compatible with all major Ethernet PHYs on the market and are designed to meet 1GBaseT electrical requirements.
