Introduction

MICRODOT Microminiature D Connectors

MICRODOT Connectors MCK and MCD comprise a complete connector system adaptable to various form factors. They feature low engaging force achieved through a twist pin contact design, where electrical contact is made at multiple points around the pin bundle. These connectors are designed to meet the applicable requirements of MIL-DTL-83513 for intermateability, interchangeability, and performance. Suitable for both military and commercial applications, they are particularly well-suited for miniaturized airborne and space electronics, computers, and test equipment. MCK connectors feature a metal shell, while MCD connectors have a plastic shell. Both are available with solder cup, and solid or stranded wire terminations. MCK transition blocks are standard for printed circuit board mounting. Custom termination configurations and wired harness assemblies are also available.
