Product Overview
The SQS CONNECTOR is a series of squib connectors designed for automotive applications, particularly for airbags. These connectors feature intelligent CPA (Connector Position Assurance) for secure locking, detection of incomplete mating, and short-circuit release. They are built with a protected terminal construction to prevent deformation during wire harness processing and a scooping (kojiri) preventive design for improved insertion and withdrawal resistance. Noise suppression is achieved through an integrated ferrite core. Two types of CPA housings are available: a normal type (1A) and a type with a jig tool insertion part for easier disassembly (2A). The connectors are compliant with ELV/RoHS standards.
