Product Overview
The USB Ranger 2201 leverages Icron's patented ExtremeUSB technology to extend USB 2.0 connectivity beyond the standard 5-meter limit. This solution allows USB devices to be located up to 100 meters (330 feet) from the host computer over Cat 5 cabling. The system comprises a Local Extender (LEX) unit that connects to the host computer and a Remote Extender (REX) unit that connects to the USB device(s), enabling flexible placement of peripherals in industrial, commercial, or office environments where direct connection is not feasible. It supports high-speed, full-speed, and low-speed USB devices and can accommodate multiple USB hubs.
