Product Overview
High-performance sealing and strain relief backshell solutions for Aerospace, Defense & Marine applications. These circular backshells offer an extensive range of termination options for circular connectors, providing strain relief, cable support, and 360 screening against EMI/RFI interference. They also offer protection against water and dirt ingress. Features include low profile options, compatibility with various shell sizes and plating finishes, and a wide variety of modification options for customization. Easy installation is supported with tool-free ranges and simple termination solutions. Two-part components allow uncoupling for repairs, helping to eliminate damage to the boot. Spin-coupling adapters are two-part components with a rotatable coupling nut and grooved body for heat-shrinkable boots, optimizing environmental protection and strain relief for unscreened cable terminations. Cable repairs can often be made without removing the boot by rolling back the heat-shrinkable boot and unscrewing the backshell coupling nut.
