The Kona KA1 Series by Harwin is an 8.5mm pitch, single-row connector system designed for high-reliability, high-power applications requiring durability. Featuring individually shrouded and recessed contacts with polarization and contact identification, these connectors ensure positive engagement through a male contact providing spring force within the female contact. Both contacts boast a hard acid gold finish for enhanced performance and longevity. Cable contacts are solder style, compatible with 8AWG cable, and are removable/replaceable. Connector housings are equipped with stainless steel screw-lock fixings for secure and easy connection, supporting mate-before-lock functionality. Options for thumbscrews, board/panel mount studs, and reverse fix styles are available, along with optional metal backshells for mechanical, RF, and EMC protection.
