Product Overview
The FH23 Series connectors are designed for Flexible Printed Circuits (FPC) offering a low insertion force with high holding force due to Hirose Electric's unique LIF design. They feature a temporary hold of FPC, simplifying assembly by eliminating the need to manually hold the FPC during actuator closing. The connectors are easy to mount on PCBs with staggered surface-mounted terminations on 0.6 mm centers, positioned on both front and back. The completely insulated bottom surface allows conductive traces to run underneath. A proven flip-lock actuator ensures easy and reliable operation with tactile confirmation of mechanical locking and electrical connection. Available in lead and leadless termination types, these connectors are designed for automated placement with a flat top surface for vacuum nozzles and are supplied in embossed tape on reels (2,500 pieces per reel). They accept 0.2mm thick FPC and are available in various contact positions.
