The FH30 Series offers 0.3 or 0.4mm pitch, 3mm height Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) connectors featuring a Flip-Lock actuator. Designed for robust performance, these connectors ensure strong actuator retention, easy FPC insertion with tactile confirmation, and reliable connection. They accommodate standard 0.3mm FPC thickness and offer easy solderability on PCBs with leads on 0.6mm or 0.8mm pitch. The flat upper surface and tape and reel packaging facilitate automated pick-and-place assembly. Conductive traces can run under the connector due to no exposed contacts on the bottom.

Recommended FPC Construction
- Single-sided FPC: Material thickness total 293m (includes Copper foil, Base adhesive, Polyimide base film, Reinforcement material adhesive, Polyimide stiffener, Covering film layer, Cover adhesive). Surface treatment: 0.2m thick gold plated over 1 to 5m thick nickel underplating.
- Double-sided FPC: Material thickness total 297m (includes Covering layer film, Cover adhesive, Polyimide, Through-hole copper, Copper foil, Base adhesive, Polyimide base film, Base adhesive, Copper foil, Thermosetting adhesive, Polyimide stiffener, Covering film layer, Cover adhesive). Surface treatment: 0.2m thick gold plated over 1 to 5m thick nickel underplating.
- Precautions: To prevent FPC release due to bending, double-sided FPC with copper foil on the back side is NOT RECOMMENDED.
