Product Description
The FI-R Series Connector is designed for high-speed serial transmission applications such as LVDS, TMDS (HDMI), and PCI Express. It is ideal for various markets including personal computers, TVs, consumer devices, copiers, and medical devices. The FI-R series offers a compact design with a 0.5mm terminal pitch and 3.8mm height, available in 21, 31, 41, and 51 positions. Key features include stable mating with large guides, strong PCB retention with solder hold-downs, 100 ohm impedance matching, and ground reinforcement. It provides options for receptacles with or without shells, and right-angle or straight types, all with a common footprint. A mechanical lock prevents mis-mating and accidental unmating. Plug options cater to discrete wire crimping, fine coaxial wire soldering, and FFC, meeting diverse design needs. It is also a VESA standard connector for TV LCD interfaces.
