The FM connector is a miniature connector designed for connecting flexible flat cables (FFC) or flexible printed circuits (FPC) with a 1.0mm lead pitch to printed circuit boards. Its compact design, with a mounting height of only 4.4mm and a width of 3.0mm, makes it ideal for high-density equipment and inter-unit connections. Features include a double-sided contact system with resilient phosphor bronze contacts ensuring stable and reliable connections even under vibration and impact, and a simple snap-in action for easy cable insertion. A surface mount model (SMT) is also available, featuring a heat-resistant housing suitable for reflow soldering, further supporting high-density component mounting.
