Introduction
Snap Dragon
The Snap Dragon is the newest style of coin cell holder, drastically increasing reliability through a snap-on cover piece. It offers an easy and intuitive battery installation and replacement process, unlike other high-reliability solutions. The design is patented by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The LCP base withstands high-temperature reflow soldering, and the polypropylene cover is durable yet flexible for easy battery replacement. The Snap Dragon holder adds only 1mm to the overall height of the coin cell on the PCB.

Minis
Minis battery holders reduce the profile to nearly nothing by allowing partial placement into a drilled hole in the PCB. This makes them ideal for applications where populated board height is a priority. High-pressure curved contacts ensure secure battery connection and easy replacement. The CR2032 model (BU2032SM-JJ-MINI-GTR) adds only 1.95mm to the board height, saving approximately 3mm compared to standard CR2032 holders.

Press to Eject (PTE) Holders
MPD offers extremely reliable, corrosion-resistant, press-to-eject (PTE) CR2032 coin cell holders. Batteries snap into place when inserted and pop up when the plastic tab is pressed. BA2032 and BA2032SM holders feature low electrical resistance and redundancy.
