ExaMAX High-Speed Backplane Connector & Cable Systems
The ExaMAX High-Speed Backplane System is designed for high-speed data transmission, offering reliable performance for demanding applications. Key features include a staggered differential pair design for improved signal integrity, two reliable points of contact with a 2.4 mm wipe, and a shielded wafer design to reduce crosstalk. This system is highly customizable with modular flexibility, enabling lower layer counts and cost reduction. It is PCIe 6.0/CXL 3.1 capable and exceeds OIF CEI-28G-LR specification for 28 Gbps standards. Available in 24 - 72 pair designs with various column configurations, it utilizes press-fit tails for reliable electrical connections. The ExaMAX High-Speed Backplane Cable Assemblies are available with Eye Speed Ultra Low Skew Twinax Cable (30 & 34 AWG) for improved signal integrity, flexibility, and routability. An Eye Speed Thinax ultra performance twinax cable version is in development. The system meets a variety of industry specifications.
