Product Overview
The 3M Wire Connector T/R+ (Tan/Red) is designed for electrically connecting two or more conductor ends in a pigtail application, providing insulation for the connection. It is suitable for copper conductors only, accommodating a wide range of solid and stranded wire sizes from AWG 22 through 8, and metric sizes from 0.5 mm through 6.0 mm. Engineered with a corrosion-resistant spring steel internal spring and a flame-retardant polypropylene and thermoplastic elastomer insulator, this connector meets stringent performance tests under UL Standard 486C and CSA Standard C22.2 No. 188-M1983. It is rated for a maximum of 600 volts for building wire and 1000 volts for signs and lighting fixtures, with a maximum operating temperature of 105C (221F).
