The 3M I/O Interconnect System 2.0 mm for IEEE 1394, 3E106 Series, is a right-angle, upright, through-hole plug (male) designed for reliable and repetitive connections. Featuring a robust ribbon-style contact, body tabs for solder joint support and shield grounding, and 360 shielding for excellent EMI protection, this system conserves PCB real estate. It supports six contacts for signal or power (up to one amp per pin) and is polarized for proper cable insertion. The system is vibration resistant and mates to the IEEE 1394 Wiremount Receptacle (TS-2296).
