The 3M I/O Interconnect System 2.0 mm for IEEE 1394 is a right-angle, horizontal, through-hole plug (male) designed for reliable and repetitive plugging. Featuring a robust ribbon style contact, body tabs for lateral support to solder joints and shield grounding, and 360 shielding for excellent EMI protection, this system is ideal for low-profile applications. Each of the six contacts can carry signal or power up to one amp per pin. The plug is polarized for proper cable insertion and is vibration resistant, mating to the IEEE 1394 wiremount receptacle (TS-2296).
