The SBE80 and SBO60 connectors are designed to build upon the capabilities of two-pole SB connectors, offering enhanced functionality for power and signal applications. These connectors feature up to 8 auxiliary power/signal contacts and an IEC 60950 touch-safe housing. The main connector can accommodate various auxiliary connector options, including PP15-45, PPMX, or the innovative 1x4 auxiliary connector. Key advantages include a touch-safe interface that minimizes contact with live circuits per IEC 60950, the ability to handle up to 8 last mate/first break auxiliaries for intelligent power switching and control circuitry, and silver-plated wire contacts capable of supporting UL-rated currents up to 80 amps per pole.
