Stewart's EPP-918A Environmental Protectant is designed to enhance product reliability by offering robust defense against harsh environmental conditions. It provides superior resistance to moisture, humidity, and corrosion, while also shielding against wear from repetitive mating and unmating forces. This patented protective coating prolongs the life of contacts within RJ11 and RJ45 jacks. Once applied during manufacturing, EPP-918A adheres instantly, eliminating the need for additional materials or cure time, thereby reducing costs. It is compatible with virtually any Stewart connector product to increase durability and reliability. EPP-918A is ideal for applications with demanding environmental conditions and high mating cycle requirements, including Fiber to the Home (FTTH) networks, Industrial Ethernet, outdoor equipment, military field equipment, marine environments, warehouse applications, mining, oil, and manufacturing sectors.
