Bel Magnetic Solutions' 2.5GBASE-T MagJack ICMs provide a cost-effective upgrade path to NBASE-T standards, doubling product speed and bandwidth at the same cost as 1GBASE-T solutions. These reliable and cost-competitive Integrated Connector Modules (ICMs) are compatible with new Ethernet PHYs and are suitable for next-generation 5G cellular equipment, 2.5GBASE-T Ethernet switches, high bandwidth 2.5GBASE-T network interface cards, NBASE-T compliant products, and industrial controls equipment. They are backwards compatible with slower speeds, utilize industry-standard footprints and pin-outs, and comply with NBASE-T and IEEE 802.3bz requirements. Key benefits include a drop-in replacement for 1G products without PCB changes, enhanced EMI and ESD performance via EMI-spring tabs, and lead-free wave-solder compatibility.
