It offers superior defense against harsh environmental conditions, including moisture, humidity, and corrosion, while also shielding against wear from repetitive mating and unmating forces. The patented protective coating prolongs contact life without migration, eliminating the need for additional tapes or mechanical barriers and their associated costs. EPP-918A is suitable for a wide range of applications exposed to extreme environments or high mating cycle counts, such as FTTH networks, Industrial Ethernet, outdoor equipment, military and marine environments, and mining operations. It is RoHS6 compliant.
