The xFBR-45xxZ series connectors are an enhanced, crimpless solution for plastic optical fiber, designed for compatibility with Avago Technologies Versatile Link series transmitters and receivers. These connectors offer a simple, snap-together installation that eliminates the need for crimping, thereby reducing labor costs, tool expenses, and installation-related yield loss. Available in both latching and non-latching styles, they can be combined to create duplex configurations. Constructed from rugged, flame-retardant plastic, these connectors are suitable for industrial and harsh environments. The series is available in black, blue, and grey, facilitating easy differentiation of fiber connections in complex setups. They are exclusively for use with Plastic Optical Fiber.
