The 7000 Series Buccaneer circular connectors offer a robust solution for signal and power applications, combining ease of use with proven environmental sealing. Featuring a quick coupling mechanism and available in both all-plastic and metal constructions, these connectors are designed for environments where dust and water ingress must be prevented. They are independently tested to IP66, IP68, and IP69K standards, making them ideal for demanding applications. The series supports a wide range of contact configurations from 2 to 32, with current ratings up to 25A and voltage ratings up to 600V, suitable for both mains power and signal transmission. Key features include a less than 1/4 turn locking mechanism for secure and quick mating, polarization for correct alignment, and 'scoop proof' contacts to prevent damage during mis-mating, particularly beneficial for blind mating scenarios. Available in Flex, Inline, and Panel Mount body styles, with options for screw, crimp, and solder terminations.
