Usage Instructions and Warnings
Instruction upon usage of ZIF Easy-on Type:
- Step 1: Use the thumb or the forefinger, raise the top cover up.
- Step 2: FPC metal finger facing down, parallel insertion into the connector.
- Step 3: Press the top cover lightly and rotate down to lock, until FPC is fully inserted and secured.
- Step 4: To withdraw FPC, carefully lift the top cover and then pull out the FPC.
Warnings:
- The rotation angle of the cover should not exceed 120 degrees.
- Inserting the FPC at an excessive angle may cause electrical discontinuity.
- The upward pulling force on the FPC should not exceed 0.04N/pin max.
- When opening the connector's top cover, avoid using excessive force to prevent contact with the terminals.
