The Kycon K99X Series IDC D-Subminiature Connector is designed for robust connectivity in demanding environments. Featuring metal construction with bright tin shells for exceptional conductivity, grounding, and EMI/RFI shielding, these connectors offer reliable performance. Indentations on the metal plug shells enhance grounding and mating retention. Applications include computer peripherals, data processing, telecommunications, industrial controls, and local area networks. The design is compatible with automatic assembly machines and meets the requirements of MIL-C-24308, EIA RS-232, and RS-449. Flat cable can be connected to a single connector or daisy-chained.
