The Kycon K99X Series IDC D-Subminiature Connector is designed for reliable data transmission in demanding environments. Featuring a robust metal construction with bright tin shells for exceptional conductivity, grounding, and EMI/RFI shielding, these connectors offer superior performance. Indentations on the metal plug shells enhance grounding and mating retention. The series is compatible with automatic assembly machines and supports flat cable connection, including daisy-chaining. Applications include computer peripherals, data processing, telecommunications, industrial controls, and local area networks. This series meets the requirements of MIL-C-24308, EIA RS-232, and RS-449.
