SMS Series Quick Mating Connectors

The versatile and easy to use SMS Quick Mating panel and cable connectors offer a highly cost-effective system approach for interconnection solutions. These full plastic connectors are available in wire attachment or PCB mounting options, providing rapid assembly without additional hardware. Panel receptacle connectors snap and lock into panel cut-outs, while cable plugs connect and disconnect with positive retention locks via a simple push-to-mate and press-to-unmate mechanism. Cable plug connectors feature pin-protection skirts, positive polarization, and optional integrated strain relief hoods. Cable receptacle connectors with integrated strain relief hoods are also available for cable-to-cable solutions. These multi-way connectors accept TRIM TRIO Size 16 (1.6mm) diameter contacts and are available in 10 contact arrangements from 2 to 36 positions. Typical applications include machinery, railway (closed from electrical operating areas, interior & cabin, signaling), and robotics.
