Product Overview
Eaton's Bussmann series high Short-Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) power distribution blocks are designed to enhance compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA requirements by addressing common SCCR limitations in industrial control panels. These blocks offer up to 200 kA SCCR and are available in 1-, 2-, and 3-pole panel mount configurations. They meet UL 1953 spacing requirements for feeder circuit applications and field installations, providing the necessary separation between uninsulated opposite polarities or ground. Featuring dual-wire rated ports, these blocks accept both copper and aluminum conductors while maintaining UL Listed status. Optional covers are available for increased electrical safety.

Torque rating for dual wire and ferrule application is 30.5 Nm (270 Lb-in).
Torque rating for ferrule application is 13.6 Nm (120 Lb-in).
(See Note): For PDB280-_, loadside ports accept #4 - #8 Cu/Al (1-2 wires) and #10 - #14 Cu (1-2 wires). Torque for #4 - #8 Cu/Al is 13.6 (120), for #10 - #14 Cu is 2.3 (20).
