The Kona KA1 Series connectors are high-reliability, 8.5mm pitch, single-row connectors designed for high-power applications requiring durability. Featuring individually shrouded and recessed contacts with polarization and identification marks, these connectors offer positive engagement through internal spring force. Both male and female contacts are plated with hard acid gold for enhanced performance and longevity. Cable contacts are solder style, compatible with 8AWG cable, and are removable/replaceable. The housings are equipped with stainless steel screw-lock fixings for mate-before-lock functionality, with options for thumbscrews, board/panel mount studs, and reverse fix styles. Metal backshells are available for mechanical, RF, and EMC protection.
