The Kona KA1 Series connectors are high-reliability, 8.5mm pitch, single-row connectors designed for high-power applications requiring durability. Featuring individually shrouded and recessed contacts with polarization and contact identification, these connectors ensure positive engagement through a male contact designed to provide spring force within the female contact. Both contact types are plated with hard acid gold for high performance and longevity. Cable contacts are solder style, compatible with 8AWG cable, and are removable/replaceable. Connector housings are equipped with stainless steel screw-lock fixings for mate-before-lock functionality, enabling easy and fast connections. Options include thumbscrews, board/panel mount studs, and reverse fix styles. Metal backshells are available for mechanical, RF, and EMC protection.
