The connector's design ensures high reliability through a protected insulation displacement area and offers cost-effectiveness by utilizing existing crimping machinery with applicator replacement for IDC connections. It is available in various configurations for wire-to-board and in-line applications, with single and double row options, and tin or gold plating.
