DF5 Series 5mm Pitch Miniature Potting Connectors for Secondary Power Supply
The DF5 Series connectors are miniature, 5mm pitch potting connectors designed for secondary power supply applications. They feature a low profile with a maximum potting height of 9mm and a mounting height of 22.5mm. Key advantages include mechanisms to prevent mis-insertion (reverse or dissimilar contact), protection against solder cracks using glass-enforced resin in the pin header, and a boss on the pin header to prevent reverse insertion into the printed board. The series utilizes a full lock mechanism for secure mating and offers a current capacity of up to 8A. These connectors are UL and C-UL certified and comply with Glow Wire standards (IEC 60695-2-11).
