Cannon 50 Ohm RF Connectors
Cannon offers a comprehensive line of 50 Ohm RF connectors, including a range of 75 Ohm connectors such as Type 43 (SMZ), 1.0/2.3, 1.6/5.6, and BNC. The CoSMIDTM (Coax Surface Mount MID) 75 ohm connectors utilize molded interconnect device technology for selective metallization of 3D plastic shapes, allowing for the integration of multiple coaxial connector lines into a single surface mountable module. This modular design enables designers to incorporate more coax lines on a card edge. Quick Termination (QT) connectors feature a pre-assembled QT contact, eliminating the need for crimping or soldering onto the center conductor; termination is achieved by activating the patented QT mechanism with a provided tool in four simple steps. The QT principle can also be applied to 50 Ohm products.
